Session I – New Events in Established Markets

  • What are the economics of hosting races in a new location ?
  • Who drives the decision making process – broadcast, marketing, spectators ?
  • Which factors (financial, attendance, ratings, etc.) determine success ?

Session II – Post Shutdown – What Have We Learned

  • The industry changed; will those stay permanent ?
  • Rising costs, were these passed onto the customer base ?
  • Shortages – tires, fuel, parts, etc. – can this be prevented in the future ?

Session III – Using Technology to Create Efficiency

  • Cost – new is expensive – how to bring affordability to grassroots motorsports ? 
  • The ultimate goal is  safety – are systems reliable ?
  • Data collection and analysis – what insights can be applied to other parts of the racing business ? 

Session IV – Off – Road Motorsports

  • What factors (technology, media, lifestyle, etc.) are driving the growth in this segment?
  • Working together – how do manufacturers and event promoters define success ?
  • Keeping it safe – what educational initiatives are working ?

Session V – Reaching and Engaging New Fans

  • How has marketing out-reach changed – who (sponsors, fans, drivers, etc.) affects that decision ?
  • Where to connect – in person at the track or through social media?
  • What benchmarks (financial, attendance, views, etc.) determine success ?

Session VI – Track Related Real Estate Development

  • Rising values – are tracks in the racing, membership or real estate business ?  
  • Special use property – what challenges (zoning, taxes, etc.) do venues encounter ?
  • What is the life cycle of drivers, members and owners ?

Session VIII – Grow Your Business with Actionable Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE & I)

  • Define D E & I – what does it mean and why does it matter ?
  • How does racing incorporate D E & I ?
  • What determines D E & I success (employee satisfaction, profitability, etc.) ?

Session IX – Media and Streaming

  • How has streaming technology evolved – who pays the costs ?
  • Benchmarks – which metrics matter to success (subscribers, profitability, etc.) ?
  • Beyond the live event – what features grow fan engagement (news, documentary, betting / fantasy sports, etc.) ?
